Sun 1 Jul Brown Falcon Sandy Bay
Two Brown Falcons sitting atop a pine tree in my neighbour's yard in suburban Sandy Bay late in the day. Surprised to see them in such a built up location.

Thu 28 Jun Cattle Egret Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, Elizabeth Town
80-100 birds (hard to count, while driving), in partially ploughed paddock just East of Red Hills Road. Large flock has been hanging around the district for some weeks, now.

Grey Goshawk (White morph) Cascades
Goshawk seen sitting on guinea-pig hutch, below the houses near the bush at Cohousing Co-operative, Strickland Ave.

Wed 27 Jun Australian Spotted Crake Sorell, Waterview Reserve
2 Australian Spotted Crakes feeding on the mud at low tide, on island opposite reserve. Joined by 4 Black-fronted Dotterel.

My first visit to this site. Bird seen c 2km upstream from roadbridge near upper end of tidal range.
