Published sightings for the week ending 27 May 2012.

Sun 27 May Common Bronzewing Kelly's Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetland, Fyshwick
Common Bronzewing observed near bittern hide. This is the third time I have recorded the bird in what I would consider an unusual location the species.

3 Brown Quail flushed at the NE corner of pond 4.

Fri 25 May Crested Shrike-tit Diddams Close Park, Lake Ginninderra
Crested Shrike-tit (4) 2 male, one undetermined and one female

Thu 24 May Crested Shrike-tit, Olive-backed Oriole, Australian Reed-Warbler Diddams Close Park, Lake Ginninderra
Crested Shrike-tit at least 4, maybe 5 or 6, in the same place where reported by others. Also an Olive-backed Oriole and an Australian Reed-Warbler. Plus bonus Water Rat

Wed 23 May Superb Parrot Belconnen
3 Superb Parrots flying over the Shell petrol station in Lathlain Street, about 3:30pm. ( 35°14'33.74"S 149° 3'50.58"E). 2 were females or immatures, the other not seen clearly enough to tell.

Crested Shrike-tit Lake Ginninderra - Ginninderra Peninsula
12.20pm one Crested Shrike-tit was seen forging in a small tree, from the cycle path in Blue Gum forest. 35 1342.89S 149 0409.16 E.

Chestnut-rumped Heathwren (2) One observed. Second bird heard calling.
