Sat 21 Apr Masked Owl (heard) Sarah Island, Macquarie Harbour
I performed a wedding yesterday evening on one of the Cruise Boats that operates out of Strahan. After the ceremony, they pulled into Sarah Island just on dusk (too late for photos, really). While the bridal party went ashore for piccies, the guests stayed on board, but there was a Masked Owl calling repeatedly from the trees on the Island. Too bad there wasn't the time (or spotlight) to go searching for the bird!!
