||Brown Quail, Little Black Cormorant, Superb Fairy-wren
Light River, Kapunda
Brown Quail (4) Convoy of four, sunning themselves on a bare upper erosion bank of the river! Things you see when camera-less! eventually they flushed to other side of river then wandered about in view for another ten minutes.
Little Black Cormorant (4) First for me at this river, often see Little Pieds but not Blacks, these four flew in landed in one of the waterholes and commenced fishing till they spotted us and flew again downstream.
Superb Fairy-wren (6) Love seeing these here as it is fairly isolated and the open country dosen't seem like good country for them yet they seem to be thriving and can always be found here.

Altona CSR Landcare Reserve
Square-tailed Kite (2) A pair seen flying and circling together over South-east end of park.
Brown Falcon (2) A pair seen flying, circling and calling together over Northern end of Park
Australian Owlet-nightjar (1) Heard only, very distinctive 'churr, churr, churr' call, heard once on yellow loop when a lot of other bird activity around, I think something may have disturbed it.
