So whatever happened to "The Big Year"

I reckon the Mrs Barnaby (both of them) are up to their necks in the crimes. 
Every time there is a murder they are in the vicinity.
On the bird side of things the mist net strung across the gateway was 
interesting and the net used to wrap the victims was either a fishing net or 
an extremely large mesh mist net.
A local birdo reckons he recognised all of the members of the Ornithological 
Society or at least knew local equivalents of them.
The reel to reel tape recorder was also an interesting prop!!

Despite all of this I like to relax in front of the TV and watch Midsomer 
Murders.  It is a bit of light hearted drama.  But I agree they will run out 
of residents to murder at some stage.
