Mike,

It may work for a while. but it is virtually impossible to control birds, long term, when they become pests. Corvids are very intelligent and they will soon realise that it is only a noise and they will come to no physical harm. I would say that it would be as effective as ultra-sonic 'roo guards for cars

Corvid researcher, such as Bernd Heinrich would no doubt have a good laugh about it.

The CD will no doubt be a nice little earner for the vendor. There are probably enough people out there who are no doubt alarmed at the thought of the dangers from the "ever increasing number of crows> It is surprising the the web site doesn't have a few scenes from "The Birds".

Cheers,

Carl Clifford

G'day B-Aus Subscribers

At www.crowaway.com.au/ somebody is offering a CD for $25 that is claimed to chase crows away.

Does anyone know anything about how this works and whether it works for Ravens?

I am not wanting to use it just wanting to know a bit more about the methodology.

Cheers & Happy swift watching

Mike
