Little Lorikeets in Adelaide?

Walking to work with my wife this morning and we had two very small lorikeets
fly past, green all over apart from the face, which was dull red, extending all
round the beak. The underwing had no trace of red, so I'm sure it wasn't
Purple-crowned (which would have been a nice lifer). The size, wing motion,
short pointed tail, call and colouring were spot on for a Little Lorikeet, but
I can't seem to find any records in Adelaide (or even SA) on Birdline SA. I
found a paper from 2006 that states that they are uncommon Autumn/Winter
visitors to the area, so what are the odds? The parkland is heaving with
lorikeets at the moment, even more so since it got colder over the last couple
of weeks.
 Cheers,

 Tony
