Blue-billed duck (1) sighted amongst Australian Shelduck and Chestnut Teal.

Banded Lapwing (10) In a paddock on private land.

9 birds plus 2 more at Knot Pt just south, good numbers for NW Tas. Island is privately-owned.

40 birds, a good flock for here as numbers are very sporadic. Island is privately-owned.

70+ birds foraging with similar numbers of Black Swans in a paddock near the Montagu Park campground.

Thu 15 Dec Southern Emu-wren Mt Cameron, North-East Tasmania
A male observed for several minutes in patch of button-grass heathland. Same month last year a female was sighted. Photographs obtained.
