Hi Chris,
Another good spots to look for turqs at Cocoparra/Binya is along the Binya
Forest Dr (prob the most productive place to see them there) and they are also
around Falcon Falls. In sunny Vic, they're at Chiltern (a bit closer than the
Warbys). If you go there try Bartley's Block (on the Chiltern Howlong Rd, 3 km
from town) and the bush s-e of the Honeyeater Dam. In the Warby's I've seen
them at the Pine Gully Picnic Area and Wenhams Camp (most often on west side of
the track leading into Pine Gully). Keen to know if you do go to the Rock NR.
It sounds really interesting; I've noticed a few NSW birdline records from
there.
Cheers,
Tim Dolby

Hi all,
When I was in Binya/Cocoparra last year I saw them near the campsite in the NP
just off the main road on your left when you enter from the Stock Route road
from the south (Binya side).
It's a great spot around that campsite with Glossy Black Cockatoos, Mulga
Parrots and Speckled Warblers all there alongside a couple of Turquois parrots
- well worth the 2 hour trip from Wagga.
Cheers,
Ed
