Our annual koel has finally arrived in our patch of Schofields (NW
Sydney) long after we decided it must have died or gone elsewhere.
Which raises a question or two:1. Do koels return to the same area annually -- I presume so, as we've always had a pair arriving Sept/October. 2. Do they normally return to the same tree each year? Ours seem to, though this one is not in the usual tree yet.
