Australian Wood Duck, Great Crested Grebe, Great Cormorant
Longreach Waterhole, Elliot
Australian Wood Duck (2) easily seen on bank with other waders. Flushed away when trying to get a photo, I believe they are on the edge of their range?
Great Crested Grebe (2) Floating mid lagoon, with a hardhead or 2. Appear to be in breeding plumage. Very comfortable with heads tucked low, male extended once. Tried for long distance photo, but I fear that heavy cropping will be low quality. Great Cormorant (6) 1 flying across water followed by small flock of 5
