Grey Goshawk
Budanoon
A Grey Goshawk (grey morh/phase) was flying with a flock of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos near home this afternoon. The cockies, though raucous, with the odd individual making the half-hearted moves toward the raptor, seemed not to care about the bird's presence, really. At one stage, the goshawk was in the very middle of the cockatoo flock.

Regent Honeyeater
Wilson Park, Wentworth Falls
While sitting quietly in the bush behind the tennis courts at the start of the Charles Darwin Walk, I couldn't believe my ears when I heard a Regent Honeyeater call. Scanned the trees and saw the bird high in a eucalypt. After a few moments it flew out of sight and I haven't seen or heard it since. The area has lots of flowering Banksia ericifolia with loads of Little and Red Wattlebirds, New Holland Honeyeaters and there were flocks of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters moving through on their southward migration. The Regent may have been travelling through with these as I haven't been able to find it again, but if anyone is in the area it would be worth keeping an eye out.

Baillon's Crake
Moree
Seen in a public water storage. Very small bird. A really tiny bit smaller than a Black fronted Dotterel. When walked up PWS wall the bird was moving into the sun and you could tell it was an immature by the green.
Saw a small bird dash across the water before but didnt know what it was but now i reckon it was the bird i saw. Probably was there all the time i went but you couldnt of seen it because of all the vegetation that was there.
BAILLONS CRAKE!
