Swamp Harrier
Ilparpa Swamp, Alice Springs
Fantastic views as the bird hunted over the north-eastern part of the swamp. Also some Buff-banded Rails about and Australian Crake.

Channel-billed Cuckoo
Fannie Bay, Darwin
I noted a pair of Channel-billed Cuckoo cruising amongst the treetops in rainforest adjacent to the Ludmilla mangroves, across from the racecourse. I usually see these birds around Darwin just at the onset of the dry season
