This is a very belated thank you to the people who kindly give me
information about birding near Toronto. We had a very enjoyable week,
although bird watching was restricted because we had our young Keplie
with us and because I chickened out of driving into the Watagans
because of a traumatic drive through there many years ago.
Nonetheless we saw some good birds, my favourite being a lovely Azure Kingfisher in a creek near our cottage.
