Oriental Cuckoo
Norfolk Island 2899, New South Wales
My wife Sue observed an Oriental Cuckoo (Hepatic phase), in our backyard on New Cascade Rd. Got great pictures.

Large Hawk Cuckoo, Yellow Bittern, Watercock, Japanese Sparrowhawk
West Island, Cocos-Keeling Islands
A Large Hawk Cuckoo was seen on the 25th on Home Island as well as Yellow Bittern, Watercock, Eurasian Teal and Japanese Sparrowhawk. A probable Chinese Pond Heron was also observed. An Oriental Cuckoo was seen and photographed at the rear of Casterway Resort in large Banyan Tree feeding on catapillars on the 23rd and 24th of Feb.
