BOCA Eaglehawk Neck pelagic
A pelagic trip off Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania produced some exciting results on Sunday. Best bird was a European Storm-Petrel. Pending BARC assessment this is the first record for Australia. The 6th or 7th Great Shearwater for Australia (and the first for Tasmania) was also seen and photographed. Other good birds included a single Little Shearwater, 2-3 Buller's Shearwaters, Soft-plumaged Petrel and Gould's Petrel.
