One about 400 meters from the end of the road. Also a white morph Grey Goshawk close by.

Two individuals seen early this morning. One at the quarry by the river. The second about 300 metres along sealed road from smaller car park. Both were active and feeding.

3 birds flew over coming from western direction and turning southeast, heading towards Wongawallen (Darlington Range) about 0800.

Blue-breasted (King) Quail
Kedron Brook Wetlands
At dusk, one King Quail was heard calling its distinctive descending three-note whistle. Several Brown Quail were also heard and seen, allowing for a nice comparison between calls.
