Sat 23 Oct White-headed pigeon Mount Lewis
Seen in the clearing at about 10am. Apparently not very common at this site, looking at previous reports. (White-headed Pigeon have been around the area for about the last six weeks but mainly sighted at lower levels around 450m with more sightings than than up on Mt. Lewis at higher altitudes. They are regularly seen on Mt. Lewis but in small numbers and for short periods - more common on the southern areas of the Atherton Tableland - Atherton, Yungaburra and Malanda. - Moderator comment)
