Crested Shrike-tit (Falcunculus frontatus) (2) Pair still hanging in same area

Date: Thursday, October 14, 2010
Location: Blockers Rd, Myponga.
Latham's Snipe (Gallinago hardwickii) (1) A good looking bird, quiet dark in
colour. Dissapeared to cover and didn't flush.
There are a series of creeks and swampy areas in the farm land both sides of
the road. The Latham's Snipe was in a large shallow swamp opposite a property
"TerreBella". Further along was one Black-fronted Dotterel. Not a lot of birds
in this area but an interesting variety.
