I can also identify with Alan, as I dipped on both Rock Wren and Blue Duck
(as well as the Stewart Is Brown Kiwi) back in March. But I did manage to
get the Okarito Kiwi, with Ian Cooper's help.
Kaikoura pelagic was my obvious trip highlight, but seeing
Yellowhead and Saddleback on Ulva Is came close.
