It isn't a rock wallaby. They all have dark facial markings.
Just a Macropus giganteus (Eastern Grey Kangaroo) Simon. It's slight structure probably means that it is a female I think. Proserpine RW is rare and confined to the area around the Clarke Range and not found on any of the off shore islands as far as I know. Unadorned are always on rocky outcrops and hillsides. By the way, the Unadorned is rteally easy to see at the water tower on the edge of Charters Towers (for anyone passing through that way...never missed them there)
