Birdline Central & Southern Queensland Published sightings for the week ending 9 May 2010. Fri 7 May Black breasted Button-quail Inskip Point A covey of three - two female and a young one on the side of the road past the bitumen at 4:45 pm. A few minutes later a seperate party of four on the walking track near the barge end of the point Geoff Walker Wed 5 May Australian (Clamorous) Reed-Warbler Condamine R, Warwick town SE QLD One only. Common enough from Sept to March, but I havent seen one this late ever. Last one seen/heard (by me) was early March.
