On the topic of misidentifying a Willie Wagtail for a baby Pied Currawong,
my cousin remarked once on the White-fronted Chats which we used to see (now
sadly no longer there) in the park at The Entrance in early 80's as 'baby
magpies' - but the rest of the family who knew better (including the
non-birders and non environmentally-inclined) was amused at the time!
