Tue 6 Apr       Sooty Owl Barakula State Forest at 26°23'03'S
150°51'59'E
Called several times then found roosting in tree..

        Wandering Whistling-Duck Buckley's Hole, Bribie Island.
Pair with thirteen small ducklings.

        Spotted Harrier Toorbul Road at Bruce Highway end.
Adult, quartering grassland adjacent to Pineapple crop.

Mon 5 Apr       Little Eagle Toohey Forest - Nathan - Brisbane
Perched for at least 1 hour in a eucalyptus. Location best described as
summit of small rise on northern side to university ring road, approx
300 metres up from Mimosa Creek.

Mon 29 Mar      Flock Bronzewing Georgina River, Donohue Highway.
6 seen flying down stream at sunrise (6).

        Flock Bronzewing Donohue Highway @ -22.62139 S, 138.58750 E
60 counted but other groups present in the open grazing land on both
sides of the highway. Sorry for the delay in reporting but only just
home from NT.
