Tue 30 Mar Kalkadoon Grasswren Mount Isa, east end of Pamela Street
At 4:30 pm approx., a pair put on a real display for us over an 8 minute
timespan. We were amazed at just how fast they could travel as they
chased each other around a small section of gully. Then, they settled
down to feeding, coming within 3 metres of us and giving spectacular
views. Many fitness people were running very close to this sighting but
birds were not shy nor seemed concerned as people passed by.
