Hi Frank, you are talking about my old home patch. Try just to the south east
from there at the other end of Chesil Beach and you'll find what used to be my
2nd home, the world renowned Portland Bird Observatory (PBO). On the mainland
from there are wetlands Radipole Lake and Lodmoor also just to the west from
there Abbotsbury and the Fleet. Ferrybridge between Portland and the mainland
is a great wader haunt. You can contact my younger birding brothers at
