According to HANZAB/Higgins - race funereus from E Vic to Qld has longer
tails and wings and a more solid oily brown-black plumage - tails are 5 cm
longer on average than race xanthanotus (Tas and Western Vic/SA)

Subject: Tassie YTBCs - Smaller?
Hi Bevan et al,
Not sure about the YTBC's, but having lived in NSW, and now in Tassie, I'd

in Tas. Maybe we all need to get out our rulers and set-squares??
Cheers,
