Flagged Pied Oystercatcher - SE Qld

For the record, Bob Moffatt has a C class banding authority and has been 
banding under Greg Clancy's supervision.  Greg has been banding shorebirds 
in the northern rivers of NSW for many years with the flagging of Pied 
Oystercatchers commencing in 2006.  It is important that observers note 
which upper leg (tibia) the flag is on as we are placing flags on left tibia 
(metal band on right tibia) as  the Vic Wader Study Group (Clive Minton et 
al) are using same colour on opposite legs (i.e.flags right tibia metal band 
left tibia).
