Yes, we have spent lots of time fighting for and undertaking indigenous
revegetation and education on Merri Creek and surrounds.

One can argue on heritage grounds as I was told recently that St Kilda Rd
was originally planted with an avenue of LSGums that were replaced by elms
by the good olde acclimatization brigade who we can also thank for rabbits,
foxes, starlings, blackbirds et al
