From: John Renowden <> Date: 30 January 2010 3:34:32 PM Subject: Info re New ZealandI am leaving for NZ early on Monday morning to visit our son in Auckland. I will have time for some birding. Does anyone have any information as to which are the better pelagic trips (preferably the less expensive ones) and what might be a suitable field guide for such a trip(s)? Would this field guide also be applicable for proposed future trips in Australia? Also, any other good birding spots in the North Island? Any suggestions much appreciated.
