About these messages, I agree with most and that there was nothing for
Mark to apologise for (maybe regret or disappointment but not apology).
I was not there but I wonder though whether the behaviour described in
various of these messages are actually the activities of bird watchers,
let alone those who have read these messages on these fora. Do we know
that the people doing these disturbances are there for looking at birds?
Is it possible that we are accusing bird watchers of doing dopey things
in cases where maybe the dopey things are being done by other unrelated
people for other entirely different dopey or legitimate reasons at the
same place and time? There are plenty of other people out there, doing
other things in the same sorts of places that we bird watchers like to
go to.
Just a thought.
