Hi All: Further to the postings on spread of Crested Pigeons along the SE coastal belt of NSW: our EGBOC records show Crested Pigeons moving south and west along the coastal parts of eastern Victoria: Mallacoota area since the mid 1990s, and further west along the coast at Marlo from 1998, Nicholson 2005, Bairnsdale 2007. Small parties are now not uncommon on the outskirts of Bairnsdale. chris ____________________________________________________________________________ ___ Chris Healey East Gippsland Bird Observation & Conservation PO Box 825, Bairnsdale, Vic 3875 Ph: (03) 5157 9036 [EGBOC is a regional branch of Bird Observation & Conservation Australia] =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
