There was a flock briefly circling over the Goonellabah shopping
centre at 1 pm EST. The birds were widely separated vertically [some
low, some high] and I didn't see them for long, so I would estimate
that there were at least 30 in the flock. It was classic pre-storm
weather {~38C with clouds building}.
I saw Needletails in the vicinity of Richmond Hill [about 5 km away] an hour later when the first shower was about to begin. Regards, Laurie. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
