Thanks to ( F Hemmings and D Eldridge, via birding-aus 2/11 #11188) she was still there. The small pond has dried up. The larger pond,(6 meters dia) is down to about 4 meters. It is closer to Fitzroy Street just after River Street on the eastern side of the road, next to an abandon yellow house (ForSale). It was seen in the afternoon.GPS cords. 32deg 13min 54sec 148deg 37min 3 sec. How did you guys ever find it in the first place. The pond is close to the road with about 30 sheep and 2 horses in the paddock. It is very dry out there and if they don't get some rain soon this pond will be dry in the a month or so. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
