Ok, I found the small wet area alongside the road on Google Earth, both above and at streetview on Fitzroy Street. I could see a Japanese Snipe but not a Painted. -----Original Message----- From: On Behalf Of Keith Brandwood Sent: Monday, November 23, 2009 12:23 PM To: Geoff Hutchinson; Subject: Painted Snipe Dubbo Here we go again giving the coordinates of a endangered species out on a world wide forum, when will we ever learn. Its totally unnecessary,PLEASE if any one is interested in seeing the bird in question they would surely get in touch with the person who reported the sighting. At least they can then vet the person before giving the location out. |
