Is that Milvus migrans (lineatus) or is lineatus now regarded as a separate
species? My world bird checklist (downloaded from www.wirldbirdnames.org)
does not show it as a separate species and my copy of The Birds of Hong Kong
and South China (Viney, Philips & Lam) also shows it as a different
sub-species of our own Black Kite.
