Gooday John,I reported sighting Channel-billed Cuckoo at Bowen on Birdline North Qld. 29 Sept. and Koels arrived 2 days later. Jon Wren Sent: Saturday, October 10, 2009 10:29 AM Subject: visitors During the past few days the Koels and Channel-bills have arrived on the Gold Coast.Presumably they have been driven north by the inclement weather down south. It must have been a shock after wintering in PNG. What is their flight path that they arrive in the south before rreaching sunny Queensland?
