At Inskip Point on 18/9 we had good views of Black Breasted Button quail along the track from the car park to the end of the point. We saw several females working in the ground litter there and also a group of three male/juveniles on the ocean beach side of the car park. We spent several hours walking the track at the Cooloola ground parrot site without any sightings and we did not hear any calls or see any movement at dusk.
