Graham,
Would it be possible to advise where this location actually is?

Hi All, Went down to look for the Grass Owl at Kurnell. Not seen. However,
on a ridge just west of the lighthouse, were about 10 Tawny-Crowned
Honeyeaters, in low scrubby heathland. A beautiful set of calls and some
seemed to be doing a display songflight, albeit they were being harassed by
a number of New Holland Honeyeaters. Nearby were a pair of Southern
Emu-Wrens and just below the lighthouse (western side) was a single briefly
glimpsed Chestnut-Rumped Heathwren. Which track is the right one to look for
the Grass Owl? None of the tracks at the southern end looked very
prospective. Cheers, Graham Buchan
