Although I'm just a beginner can someone identify this bird please?: http://www.adderley.net.au/birds/1148.jpgI suspect it's a Great Skua although I can't see the two tiny extended tail feathers. Taken this morning a few km out from Palm Beach, Sydney. The creature in the background is a Humpback Whale which was the reason we were there. I found the birds much more fascinating as I saw my first albatross (or so so I was told) I'd be interested in the next pelagic trip please.
