Hi all,
Over the last few months I have noticed that "little brown birds" in general
have all been very quiet. We have found them eventually but not in the
numbers I would have expected.

Regarding pardalotes here is an extract from my day note for 15 March after
a visit to Long Gully near Bacchus Marsh: "A standard Sunday outing was
improved by a huge flock of Spotted Pardalotes moving through the tree tops
in a “wave” with some Striated Pardalotes and a few thornbills. We estimate
that this flock of Spotted Pardalote would have been close to 1000 birds."

Where these birds were going or where they are now I can not imagine.

cheers

Jenny
