A bit of Googling gave me a location in McKimmies Rd. This looks like a quarry
to me:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=McKimmies+Road,+Bundoora&ie=UTF8&ll=-37.681001,145.046482&spn=0.026832,0.044117&t=h&z=15&iwloc=addr

I'm guessing you'd access it from Linacre Drive or Janefield Drive.

Hi Melbourne birders,
There has been a Red-tailed Black Cockatoo reported at "the old Boral
Quarry" in Bundoora on Friday 27/3. Would someone please email and let me
know where this old quarry is ie street names etc. I would like to see this
bird if it is still around.

Thanks

Jenny
