On the 28th of March SOSSA pelagic trip out of Wollongong ( a full trip
report will be posted) we observed a Red-Footed Booby. It gave us a
couple of passes about 26km due east of Wollongong Harbour. This was the
first sighting of a Red-Footed Booby on the Wollongong trip.
I was interested if anyone had records of Red-Footed Boobies in NSW, especially as far south as Wollongong? I know there have been a few, such as the Central Coast bird in 1998 and another beach washed on the South Coast, but any further reports would be great.
