HANZAB has an extra section on Duck hybrids because, as Chris said, hybridization is particularly frequent in this group. It mentions 3 Wood Duck hybrid, all in captivity with non-Australian species: Egyptian Goose, Upland Goose and somewhat bizarrely, Aix sponsa, the American Wood Duck. Andrew |
