Great idea John. 
It's an excellent way to show your appreciation and thanks for to someone
for use of their property.
If that's all it took to secure a lifer for me, I reckon I'ld go broke
pretty quick.

Chris, 
maybe charge a $5 fee for those coming to the open day and forward it to the
Manager, or a charity of his wishing. I'm sure that nobody would begrudge a
fiver to look for a rare lifer.
