I would have done the same thing. It might be frustrating to know you could 
have rushed to the spot and ticked it, but there's no guarantee it would still 
be there, especially as it was flushed by a raptor.

At least it's now known that the bird is in the region (Bundaberg?), so others 
will know to look out for it.
