Visited Byron Bay Feb. 1 and amongst Common and Crested Terns mucking
about off the lighthouse were two Arctic Tern, one winter plumage
adult and a first-winter type. The frosty primaries and bright white
rump and tail stood out, also the spiky proportions, with very good
lighting and viewing from directly above for once. A long overdue Oz
tick- Yay!
