I think they are quite common in the Blueys, but migrate
altitudinally. There's been some down at Lapstone this week, but in no
way a reliable group.
Best spot, by a mile, to see Gang-Gangs is Mt Wilson, at the Cathedral
of Ferns camping area. However, they will mostly be at tree top level
and not interested in humans. I don't consider them shy birds, but
only because they live at the top of eucalypts. What could possibly
worry them up there?
