Hi Dick/All

I have witnessed Brown Goshawks feeding on road killed Tammar Wallabies
Macropus eugenii on KI several times over recent years. On each occasion a
juvenile was involved. Easy pickings for a novice hunter not long out of the
nest, I guess.

Cheers

Hi all

Bird number 137, and raptor number 12 for our property turned up this
morning.

A beautifully plumaged female Peregrine Falcon circled me , the chook pen ,
and landed in a tree near where I was fencing . It stayed whilst I went in
and got my bino's for a closer study.

Yesterday, I observed a Brown Goshawk feeding on a road side kill of a small
wallaby.

Has anyone else seen Brown Goshawks feeding on carrion ?

Cheers & Happy Australia day
