Although it is uncommon for them to do so, there are records of both Brown and 
Grey Goshawks feeding on carrion and road-kill.

Although most of these involve fresh road-kill, some sightings do show that 
they feed on decaying flesh. A number of the latter records involve juveniles, 
so possibly desperately hungry individuals are doing this.
